South Africa Dreamin’ is a dynamic musical short film exploring identity, culture, and self-discovery through the fusion of music and dance. Set in a prestigious university, the film follows young artists as they navigate their dreams, traditions, and the transformative power of art.

We are seeking exceptional vocalists, dancers, and actors to bring this vision to life!

🎤 ZUKI

(Male Lead, 17-21)

A charismatic and ambitious young man deeply rooted in South Africa’s cultural diversity. Fluent in Xhosa, Zuki represents the Xhosa identity, balancing tradition and modernity.

✅ Vocal Ability: Exceptional tenor/alto singer with strong solo and harmony skills.
✅ Dance Skills: Proficient in modern African dance, blending contemporary and traditional movement.
✅ Character Traits: Confident, passionate, and expressive, with a strong sense of heritage.

This role requires captivating stage presence, expressive movement, and vocal power.

🎶 AMAYA

(Female Lead, 17-21, American or French Accent)

A bold and independent young woman who arrives in South Africa eager to embrace the country’s artistic traditions. She forms a deep bond with Zuki through music and dance.

✅ Vocal Ability: Strong soprano or alto singer with a lead voice and harmonization skills.
✅ Dance Skills: Proficient in contemporary African dance, with a natural ability for fluid movement.
✅ Character Traits: Adventurous, passionate about music, and culturally curious.

This role requires a strong performer with vocal power, expressive movement, and emotional depth.
